FEBRUARY 10 – 11, 2018 in JACKSON, WYOMING
RIDE THE TETONS
Shred in the morning, shape in the afternoon. We've set up the schedule so you can have the best of both worlds: ride the epic Tetons and get crafty making the board of your dreams. Wether you're riding backcountry or the resort, we have package options for you that include discounted lift tickets or transportation to and from the Teton Pass.
TAILORED FOR YOU
Based on conditions and the session, you choose your morning: Ride Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or the Teton Pass. You'll get a discounted lift ticket as part of the group, or a ride to and from The Pass to our workspace location. Did you say lunch? Powder and woodworking make you hungry! We've got it covered so that you can worry about having fun and making stuff. We promise to feed you well.
SAVE THE WORLD
We use US grown FSC certified poplar, which we laminate together with a super clean bio resin from Entropy Resin. A Ptex base and steel edges are laminated together with the poplar sheets in an industrial snowboard press that designed in the PowderJet workshop. We only make about 150 boards a year, by people who take powder days off. No made in China. No toxic soup.
BUILD YOUR OWN
OUR BOARDS

PowderJets were created with a simple mission: to handcraft an eco conscious, super fun snowboard to tear up the backcountry.

HELLO! I'M JESSE LOOMIS
I started building PowderJets in 2009 because I couldn't find the board I wanted in the mayhem of the current snowboard industry. The board I was looking for wasn't being built, so PowderJet Snowboards was spawned.

MY BOARD
I wanted a classic powder surfer that would float me through open powder fields, and turn tightly enough to manage the squirrely trees here in Vermont, and it needed to be built as ecologically-minded as possible. So I built my own PowderJet.

YOUR BOARD
You choose your model and shape, and create your own artwork for a custom topsheet. Once you've registered, I'll be in touch to work out the details of your specific build and work out the specs for your board and graphics.
I thought my PowderJet would be more of a specialty board I'd only ride on deep pow days. Last winter, I rode it almost everyday! With Jesse's help, I was able to build my PowderJet with all the things I was looking for in a board. And a great way to spend a weekend!
I can't say enough about how cool #buildyourown was. Just the best time.
My buddy and I went down to San Diego to a #buildyourown workshop his wife got him for his birthday. It was the best time! A weekend to unplug, surf, learn, make something with my hands, spend time with friends and leave with a rad board. Highly recommend.

FAQ
If you choose the BUILD + RIDE: JACKSON package, we'll ride Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has the longest continuous vertical rise of any ski area in the U.S rising 4,139 feet from the valley floor to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. What makes Jackson Hole a mecca for snowboarders? Extreme terrain and extreme riding culture.
If you choose the BUILD + RIDE: TARGHEE package, we'll ride Grand Targhee. Grand Targhee Resort is situated on the western slope of the Tetons in Alta, Wyoming. Located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, our abundance of light powder snow (more than 500 inches annually) and lack of lift lines creates an uncrowded (wide open) skier and snowboarder paradise. We are continually recognized for our great snow, genuine western hospitality and scenic beauty.
If you choose the BUILD + TOUR Package, we'll be in our backyard, The Teton Pass. The Pass offers world class backcountry riding with large open bowls, long ridges and enough untracked powder for all. The Teton Pass is rated as the nation’s best backcountry skiing by National Geographic Adventure Magazine. Read America’s Best Adventures.
Great! Grand Targhee's un-crowded and laid back vibe is the perfect place for beginners or riders who haven't been on the mountain in a while. We can also arrange lessons, just let us know. On the Jackson Side, Snow King is more relaxed option.
• Your riding gear (think warm)
• If you're touring, your backcountry setup
